Director and Choreographer Evelina Stampa was born and raised in Zürich, Switzerland. Her career began at a young age, dancing and acting in various shows and commercials, most notably at the Opera House Zürich.
After moving to London and graduating with a BA in Theatre Dance from the University of Arts London, Stampa went on to choreograph commercials and plays, as well as creating her own dance company. A highlight of that time was being a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance: Poland.
In 2015, Evelina received the Fulbright Scholarship, leading her to the prestigious MFA Directing program at UCLA. While in Los Angeles, Stampa directed and assisted on various Plays, Musicals and Opera's. Stampa's Thesis Production of 'Spring Awakening' won a Broadway Theater Award for Best Direction as well as a nomination for Best Choreography. Stampa is based in Europe and continues to work in Theater as well as behind the Camera as a Director and Movement Coach for Short Films and Music Video or a Casting Associate vor various Swiss Commercials.
